Chromatography: Concept and Applications
Concept: It is an analytical technique used for the separation of a mixture. 
It consists not only separation of, but  also the simultaneous purification of the analytes.

Applications: Chromatography has immense applications in Chemical and Biological Sciences:

1) Forensic Pathology
2) Soil Analysis
3) Detection of spoilage and additives.
4) Determining nutritional quality
5) Investigation of the samples obtained from the crime scenes..
6) Forensic Pathology.
7 ) Elemental Analysis.
8) Metabolomics and Proteomics

There are different modes such as Column mode, Thin Layer Planar mode.
